COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 28, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 478 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 424,291;
• 5 new deaths, for a total of 11,490 deaths;
• 254 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 3 compared to the previous day;
• 19 new entries,
• 22 new discharges;
• 67 people in intensive care, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
• 9 new entries,
• 8 new discharges;
• 32,889 samples conducted on October 26.

Vaccination

• 14,376 doses administered are added, that is 13,174 doses in the last 24 hours and 1 202 doses before October 27, for a total of 13,209,715 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 215,977 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,425,692 doses received by Quebecers.
