COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 26, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 340 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 423,335;
• 4 new deaths, for a total of 11,481 deaths;
• 259 hospitalizations, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
• 16 new entries,
• 16 new discharges;
• 66 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 3 compared to the previous day;
• 4 new entries,
• 7 new discharges;
• 20,962 samples conducted on October 24.

Vaccination

• 8,900 doses administered are added, that is 8,464 doses in the last 24 hours and 436 doses before October 25, for a total of 13,184,753 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 214,357 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,399,110 doses received by Quebecers.
