SnapNurse Joins DLH in Alaska's Fight Against COVID-19

SnapNurse, a disruptive, tech-enabled healthcare staffing platform, today announced a staffing partnership with DLH Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: DLHC), a leading provider of innovative health research, services, and solutions to federal agencies.

SnapNurse will rapidly deploy hundreds of highly-trained medical personnel to the state of Alaska in support of two FEMA contracts recently awarded to DLH. Through the first contract, DLH and its partners will provide medical countermeasures and emergency medical services for hospitals, long-term care facilities, and schools throughout the state. It has a total ceiling value of $87 million for the 90-day base period. The second contract calls for the placement of experienced medical personnel to support COVID-19 community testing and collection, vaccination, and monoclonal antibody therapy. It holds a ceiling value of $20 million for the 90-day base period. Both contracts include three one-month optional extensions after the initial period of performance.

Alaska is currently responding to an uptick in COVID-19 cases. SnapNurse will place experienced medical support personnel in communities throughout the state, with DLH will providing emergency medical logistics coordination for the healthcare services team.

"We are proud to partner with DLH to staff this important contract with FEMA," said Cherie Kloss, SnapNurse founder and CEO. "As we continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the country, we can make a difference by providing best-in-class medical professionals the opportunity to reach and treat patients in need, fast."

The DLH partnership is the latest expansion for one of America's fastest growing companies.

Established in 2017, SnapNurse's innovative healthcare staffing solution allows its partners to self-select from more than 225,000 nurses and allied professionals for both urgent and long-term staffing needs. Thanks to its unique same-day payment model and the growing ubiquity of its platform among nurses nationwide, SnapNurse has proven uniquely positioned to offer solutions to healthcare facilities hit hard by the pandemic, filling short-term nursing vacancies in less than 48 hours -- a disruptive departure from the 14-day average provided by traditional medical staffing agencies.
