Battelle Funds New OSLN Classroom Grants
Battelle is funding the Ohio STEM Learning Network's newest grant program to foster the creation of new of sustainable STEM education programming in classrooms and schools across Ohio. Educators from around the state of Ohio can now apply for the Ohio STEM Learning Network STEM Classroom Grant Program to create STEM learning projects this year.
Applicants may apply for either a $2,500 or $5,000 classroom grant. Applications for the 2021-22 school year open Oct. 21 and close Dec. 2, 2021. Awards will be announced mid-January 2022. Eligible applicants are teachers or school administrators in public or private schools, grades K through 12. Schools must be in Ohio. Awards must be made to an organization or fiscal agent that is tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Service code 501(c)(3) or a governmental agency.
Projects should align to one of the following focus areas:
- Community Problem Solving
- STEM Career Exploration
- Building STEM Mindsets
- Design Thinking and Infrastructure
