COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 21, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 428 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 421,357;
• 405,126 people have recovered;
• 3 new deaths, for a total of 11,458 deaths;
• 274 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 13 compared to the previous day;
• 17 new entries
• 30 new discharges
• 72 people in intensive care, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
• 9 new entries
• 9 new discharges
• 32,289 samples conducted on October 19.

Vaccination

• 13,614 doses administered are added, that is 12,928 doses in the last 24 hours and 689 doses before October 20, for a total of 13,131,504 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 210,391 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,341,895 doses received by Quebecers.
