Since the company was founded in October 2006, OBHG clinicians have surpassed 3,000,000 patient encounters, including 1,000,000 high-risk encounters and performed over 250,000 deliveries.

OBHG was founded by OB/GYN Chris Swain, MD, who created the nation's first Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED).
