Aqua Virginia Announces New Director of Corporate Development


Aqua Virginia announced the appointment of Michael Mee as director of corporate development. Mee will lead the company's growth initiatives to expand its water and wastewater services.

Mee brings Aqua Virginia wide-ranging experience in public service. Throughout his career, Mee served as the director of public works for multiple Virginia cities where he was responsible for all public works and utility operations, including water and wastewater services. Most recently, Mee served as the director of municipal and state marketing for an environmental consulting firm.

"I am thrilled to welcome Michael to the Aqua Virginia family," said Aqua Virginia President John Aulbach. "Michael's extensive public service experience is a crucial asset that will be put to good use as we continue to assist municipalities with their water and wastewater needs."

Mee received his masters degree in public administration from Old Dominion University.
