Tempo Software Sees Double Digit Increase in Annual Recurring Revenue as Adoption of Time and Team Management Solution for Jira Continues to Rise

Tempo Software, the leader in team time management and productivity-enhancing solutions, today announced significant growth in the adoption of its developer-focused applications within the Atlassian ecosystem. In addition to this momentum, the company has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Jonathan Burg to Chief Revenue Officer. Jonathan brings over 15-years of sales and marketing, customer engagement, and brand leadership experience to the most popular time tracking application in the marketplace today.

Tempo has seen continued year over year revenue growth due to the ongoing adoption of its market-leading team time management software within the Atlassian Marketplace. At the end of the first three quarters of 2021, the company has seen double digit ARR growth from the same time last year and now counts 119 of the Fortune 500 as customers.

"To date, 2021 is tracking to be the most successful in Tempo's history," said Mark Lorion, CEO of Tempo Software. "The continued focus by management teams throughout all industries to understand and improve how time is being invested is what is separating high-performing teams from their competition. Tempo has long been focused on delivering simple, insightful and data-driven solutions that promote corporate growth all while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The addition of Jonathan as our new CRO will only increase this focus and help organizations leverage automation of simple processes to make a difference in the work being done today."

Jonathan Burg joins Tempo as the organization's first Chief Revenue Officer. In his new role, he will help further the adoption of Tempo's market-leading time and team management software and delight customers by helping them realize the full potential of their talent.

Jonathan brings over 15-years of leading go-to-market, brand, growth, customer acquisition, and revenue operations strategy at a number of high growth SaaS companies including Kronos, LogMeIn and Apperian. Most recently he led the go-to-market strategy for the global employee engagement SaaS company, Reward Gateway, whose mission is to ?Make the World a Better Place to Work'. During his five year tenure he led the company through a corporate rebrand and repositioning with multiple new products and market entries, while driving 180% growth in revenue.

"The opportunity to join the true market leader in time and team management solutions for high-growth companies is an absolute honor," said Jonathan Burg. "Tempo has set the standard across the Atlassian ecosystem, and I look forward to helping synchronize our efforts across marketing, sales, client success, and channel partnerships to continue driving intelligent growth while exceeding our customers expectations," added Burg.

Tempo continues to hire across all departments around the globe and build on its collaborative, innovative, employee-first culture. The company has recently been named one of Canada's best employers for recent graduates in 2020, and a Top 10 Company to work for in Iceland in 2018 and 2019.
