Toward One Wisconsin Conference on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Taking Place Oct. 12-13

Toward One Wisconsin 2021 ? A conference on equity, diversity and inclusion, is taking place virtually on October 12-13. This year's theme of Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers seeks to connect citizens and organizations from multiple sectors across Wisconsin to build communities of equity and opportunity.

In 2020, Toward One successfully brought together more than 800 people in a fully virtual format to address and prioritize the work of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout Wisconsin. This year, conference organizers intend to deliver the same productive and meaningful experience in a completely virtual environment.

There will be four conference tracks where attendees will discover collaborative and innovative approaches, best practices, cutting edge research and/or success stories that address job entry, creating united communities that welcome all residents, embracing a healthy climate for youth in our schools and neighborhoods and promoting health equity initiatives across Wisconsin. The tracks include: Track I: Increasing Opportunities for Inclusion in Wisconsin's Workforce; Track II: Creating Inclusive Communities; Track III: Cultivating Equity in Education; and Track IV: Building Health Equity in Wisconsin.
