COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 17, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 837 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 401,462;
• 383,334 people have recovered;
• 3 new deaths, for a total of 11,318 deaths;
• 262 hospitalizations, for an increase of 6 compared to the previous day;
• 95 people in intensive care, for an increase of 8 compared to the previous day;
• 32,586 samples conducted on September 15.

Vaccination

• 23,064 doses administered are added, that is 21,813 doses in the last 24 hours and 1,251 doses before September 16, for a total of 12,709,800 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 160,422 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 12,870,222 doses received by Quebecers.
