Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity - Transformational gift announcement supporting paediatric brain & mental health

Donation supports SickKids VS Limits Campaign

TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2021 /CNW/ - Media are invited to join the SickKids community in the celebration of an announcement of a transformative gift to support paediatric brain and mental health. This donation will enable advances in paediatric brain health and development, as well as child and youth mental health by bringing together a critical mass of multidisciplinary expertise needed to tackle the brain's unparalleled complexity.

Join us in announcing this incredibly generous gift, acknowledging its donor, and celebrating its vision: healthy minds start here.

Launched in October 2017, the SickKids VS: Limits campaign is a six-year, $1.5 billion fundraising campaign, the largest in Canadian health care history. A key element of the campaign involves re-imagining the SickKids campus, including building the new Peter Gilgan Family Patient Care Tower on University Avenue.
