COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update

QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 16, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

• 782 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 400,625;
• 382,703 people have recovered;
• 2 new deaths, for a total of 11,315 deaths;
• 256 hospitalizations, for an increase of 6 compared to the previous day;
• 87 people in intensive care, for an increase of 2 compared to the previous day;
• 33,111 samples conducted on September 14.

Vaccination

• 20,120 doses administered are added, that is 18,886 doses in the last 24 hours and 1,234 doses before September 15, for a total of 12,686,736 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 157,291 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 12,844,027 doses received by Quebecers.
