/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - The STL launches STL Compagnon Program for riders with special needs/

LAVAL, QC, Aug. 12, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - The Société de transport de Laval invites you to the unveiling of the STL Compagnon Program, which is aimed to riders with special needs (particularly: mild intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder [ASD] or developmental language disorder [dysphasia]). The program will allow users to travel more safely, to gain some independence and confidence so they can integrate regular public transit into their commuting habits, and thus live an active life. For example, they can go to school, go to work or even go to a medical appointment all by themselves.

The following people will be in attendance and available for interviews:

• Chantal Rouleau, Minister for Transport and Minister Responsible for the Metropolis and the Montréal Region, Government of Québec
• Stéphane Boyer, Deputy Mayor and Vice-President of the Executive Committee, City of Laval
• Ingrid Falaise, Spokesperson, with her spouse Cédrik Reinhardt, father of an autistic child
• Pierre Lavigueur, Executive Director, Development and Innovation, STL
• Éric Morasse, Chair of the Board of Directors, STL

By car: STL parking lot, reserved section at the back of the employee parking lot near the garage entrance
