Media Advisory - Ministers Alghabra and Duclos to make an important announcement about funding in support of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport recovery and to visit the Davie shipyard in Levis

QUEBEC CITY, Aug. 5, 2021 /CNW/ - The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, the President of the Treasury Board, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, and President and CEO of the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, Stéphane Poirier, will make an important funding announcement in support of economic recovery of the Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

They will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

Media are invited to park in the multi-level parking. Free parking passes will be distributed at the exit.

Ministers Alghabra and Duclos will then proceed to the Davie shipyard for a site visit. Media representatives are invited to join the tour for a photo op.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and Quebec Public Health's recommendations, in-person attendance will be controlled by Transport Canada. Wearing a face cover is mandatory.
