Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce details of the new Regional Development Agency for the Prairies


WINNIPEG, MB, Aug. 4, 2021 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification Canada, will provide details of the new Prairies-focused regional development agency announced in Budget 2021.

Minister Joly will be joined by the Honourable Jim Carr, Minister and Special Representative for the Prairies, and Terry Duguid, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages and to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
