Media advisory - Minister Champagne in British Columbia to announce investments to grow a robust, competitive biomanufacturing and life sciences sector


VANCOUVER, BC, July 27, 2021 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will visit Precision NanoSystems, in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he will announce the launch of Canada's Biomanufacturing and Life Sciences Strategy. He will also tour Aspect Biosystems Ltd., where he will highlight Government of Canada support to help innovative companies in British Columbia grow and succeed. As well, the Minister will tour AbCellera Biotechnologies, a Vancouver-based biotech company at the forefront of developing antibody-based drugs to treat and prevent COVID-19.
