Quirch Foods Issues a Market Withdrawal of Mambo Brand Frozen Pandebono

Quirch Foods announced today that it has ordered a voluntary market withdrawal of Mambo Brand "Pandebono" due to possible cross contamination of wheat in the processing facility. The 4 count, 8 oz package (UPC# 665072642809) states the item is gluten free and backed by a Gluten Free Certification. During a recent plant audit, it was discovered that part of the production process may have been conducted in an area where wheat containing products were also handled. As a precautionary measure, the company has decided to remove all of the affected inventory immediately.

The processing plant has taken the necessary allergen controls to prevent cross contamination, however, Quirch Foods deemed it necessary to remove the product from commerce.
