Meridian Honda gets ready for the 2022 Civic Sedan to arrive very soon

MERIDIAN, Miss., May 14, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The automotive calendar is a little ahead of the actual calendar in terms of moving toward the next year. Meridian Honda has already received a 2022 model into its inventory, represented by the latest Odyssey minivan platform. However, the coming arrival of the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan will, at least unofficially, signal the kick-off to the new model year. People in the Meridian area that have been waiting to see what the Civic Sedan would look like after the redesign was announced in November 2020 won't have long to wait. In fact, Meridian Honda customers are welcome to come to the dealership's showroom to start the pre-ordering process.

When the 2022 Civic goes on sale later this year, it will feature a sleeker, more athletic, but familiar exterior. Meridian Honda customers will be able to choose among four 2022 Honda Civic trim grades, LX, Sport, EX and Touring. The EX-L trim was dropped for the new model year. Future buyers coming to the dealership's showroom will almost certainly wonder how the 2022 Honda Civic compares to the 2021 version. The 2022 Civic LX and Sport trim grades will use the same powertrain as the entry-level trim grades from the previous model year, making the same output numbers.

Meridian Honda customers can pick the EX or Touring models with its turbocharged 1.4-liter, four-cylinder engine, making 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. Both of these figures represent marked increases over the 2021 model.

Among the changes the 2022 Honda Civic will feature is universal access to a smartphone-compatible infotainment system. For the first time in the history of the Civic Sedan, all 2022 Civic owners will be able to use both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Autotm suites of applications. Some of the top-end trims will even offer wireless connectivity for the smartphone applications. Wireless smartphone charging and a premium sound system are also available on the 2022 Civic Touring.

Anyone can view the entire Meridian Honda inventory today by visiting the dealership's website, http://www.meridianhonda.com. The showroom is located at 503 Front Street Ext., Meridian, MS 39301. Customers can start the pre-ordering process for the 2022 Honda Civic Sedan today by calling, 601-693-4651.
