Mountain America Credit Union's 3-Point Shot Program Donates $62,000 to Huntsman Cancer Foundation
SANDY, Utah, May 13, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- For the eighth season, Mountain America Credit Union committed to donating $50 to Huntsman Cancer Foundation for every 3-point shot made by the Utah Jazz. With the Utah Jazz hitting more than 1,100 3-point shots during the 2020-2021 season, Mountain America presented Huntsman Cancer Foundation with a check for $62,000.
This season, the Utah Jazz has set both new NBA and team records for 3-point shots:
During the February 22 and 24 games, the Utah Jazz hit 50 3-point shots, setting a new NBA record for the number of 3-point shots in two consecutive games.
On February 24, the Jazz also set a franchise record of number of 3-point shots in one game, with 28 3-point shots.
During the April 3 game against the Magic, the Jazz set another league record with 18 3-point shots in the first half.
Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, is a nationally recognized research institute with world-renowned experts dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer. In addition to providing life-changing treatment, Huntsman Cancer Institute offers education regarding cancer risk, prevention and care.

Over the past eight Utah Jazz seasons, Mountain America has donated more than $450,000 to Huntsman Cancer Foundation through its 3-Point Shot Program.
