The Possible Project Expands STEAM and Development Programs With Key New Hires
Today, The Possible Project (TPP) announced two new hires, welcoming Asia Watson, Director of Development and Janet Hollingsworth, Makerspace Director. These personnel additions reflect TPP's commitment to program excellence and expanding its footprint in Boston. As an organization, TPP strives to advance economic equity by ensuring young adults develop the entrepreneurial spirit, skills, and networks to launch successful careers.
"We are dedicated to identifying talent that both elevates our youth-driven mission, and our program growth," said TPP Co-founder and Executive Director, Becky Levin. "Asia and Janet bring key skills and knowledge in their respective fields, helping us raise resources and deliver a robust program to our students."
Asia will work with the organization's development team to cultivate and deepen corporate and individual fundraising relationships, while enhancing donor stewardship. Prior to TPP, Asia served as a Corporate Relations Manager at The Greater Boston Food Bank where she managed a diverse fundraising portfolio that generated multi-figure gifts annually and spearheaded high visibility cause campaigns with top-tier national and regional brands. Asia also holds deep experience within foster care work, facilitating foster parent recruitment, licensing, child placement and case management. Asia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Stonehill College and a Master of Social Work from Howard University.
Janet will bring her extensive STEAM industry knowledge to elevate TPP's Makerspace design and programs, providing students access to a variety of hands-on learning experiences, leveraging technologies and equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, computerized textile manipulators, and more. Most recent, she served as Director of Maker Experiences & Entrepreneurism at Washington Leadership Academy, a STEM and innovation-focused charter high school in Washington, DC. Janet was additionally a co-founder of Boulder Public Library's BLDG61, a first-class and nationally-recognized makerspace cited for its engagement among diverse audiences. Janet earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.

Based in Boston, TPP offers high school students a year-round, multi-year entrepreneurship program that includes dynamic, project-based curriculum, STEAM education, hands-on work experience, and individualized college and career advising. TPP's young entrepreneurs launch their own companies, learn design and advanced manufacturing, intern with local companies, and map their postsecondary goals and plans. In the process, they develop career readiness, social-emotional, and technical skills and strengthen their professional identity, preparing them to succeed in any future path they choose.
