Vault Micro: CameraFi Live, an Android Live Streaming App, Released DSLR Vertical Streaming Feature for Live E-Commerce

Vault Micro, the developer of the live streaming app CameraFi Live, has announced that the app has released updates connecting DSLR in portrait mode for high-quality live e-commerce streaming. It enables CameraFi Live users to use their DSLR or camcorder to broadcast professional-quality video for shopping live vertically.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed our lives, including the way we shop. Due to limited access to physical stores, people switch to shopping online. Consumers start to watch live streaming sales videos to experience real-time interaction like they usually do in local shops. As the trend surges dramatically, retailers start looking for professional live streaming solutions to keep customers interested and sell more products. However, small suppliers cannot easily rent a studio and purchase high-quality streaming equipment.

Since most live shopping videos are vertical, and the retailers' demand for high-quality streaming increases, CameraFi Live is updated to support DSLR vertical broadcasts. Unlike smartphones, DSLR cameras use large image sensors that result in better resolution and clarity. Moreover, DSLR supports zoom in or out and sharp focus to show the product in detail. DSLR is available in a variety of distances and focuses so sellers can flexibly respond to customer requests.

CameraFi Live is a live streaming app for Android users that provides an easy way to sell products via live streaming with professional-like videos on various social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. The app creates about 30,000 live broadcasts every day from different parts of the world, especially in Thailand, Indonesia, and South American countries. CameraFi Live also provides real-time shopping effects to product information like item name, price, discount event, and other relevant details during broadcast. Thanks to those functions, it is evaluated as one of the most useful live commerce tools.

Vault Micro CEO Seongil Kim says, "Live streaming is a great way to help customers better understand the products and earn their loyalty which can lead to more sales. I hope that CameraFi Live could help users sell their products online and connect them with online customers through real-time broadcasting." He also emphasizes that he plans to continue cooperating with live e-commerce platforms so that non-professional users can start live streaming without difficulty.
