There Can Be Only One: Nominations Now Open for Torque's Plugin Madness 2021

WP Engine, the world's most trusted WordPress technology company, today announced nominations are now open for Torque's Plugin Madness 2021. The contest, entering its sixth year, is a bracket-style competition that begins with 64 WordPress plugins nominated by Torque readers which are split into four groups: eCommerce, Maintenance, Marketing and Optimization. Those plugins are then pitted against one another in a grueling set of matchups that culminate in a finals round, and ultimately, the thrill of victory for one remaining WordPress plugin champion.

"Plugin Madness is our biggest contest of the year and one of the most highly sought after awards in the WordPress plugin industry," said Emily Schiola, editor of Torque Magazine. "WordPress is as powerful as it is because of the people behind these plugins. Plugin Madness celebrates the vast community of developers working tirelessly to make WordPress the most customizable CMS on the web."

"Plugin Madness is a wonderful yearly project by Torque magazine," said Ben Pines, Head of Content at Elementor. "It does a lot to promote the spirit of good sportsmanship and healthy competition between the talented makers of WordPress plugins from all over the world. We were delighted to participate and quite humbled to win the 2020 rounds, especially given we were up against some amazing plugins."

64 Enter, 1 Comes Out the Winner
