PR Club Opens the 53rd Annual Bell Ringer Awards

PR Club, the oldest organization for communication professionals in New England, today opened submissions for the 53rd Annual Bell Ringer Awards which honor outstanding achievement in PR and marketing. The Bell Ringers are open to public relations, marketing and communication professionals based in New England or those who manage(d) initiatives for New England-based clients. Additionally, entries are now open for the three Professional Awards: Striker (young professional), Ringer (mid-level) and the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement.

In a challenging year, the PR Club is thrilled to celebrate the excellence of PR, marketing and communications pros in and around the region. New for 2021, entrants will find:

• Two COVID-19-related campaign categories, plus new campaigns for unpaid influencer/ambassador work, corporate social responsibility, and fundraising.
• Notable digital Bell Ringer Winner's Showcase that will feature all of the excellent work and results that our community achieved, even if we may not be able to be in-person to view it.
• Professional awards are free to enter for PR Club members, making it easier to honor your colleagues for their excellence in communications.

"In a year that challenged not only our industry, but the world as a whole, we know how important it is to celebrate the incredible work that PR, marketing and comms pros pivoted and executed this past year," said Amanda Fountain, President of PR Club and Director of Social Media Strategy at March Communications. "We are excited to recognize and honor our local talent and provide opportunities for our community to show off the influence they have had and the results they are achieving with their creative and innovative thinking."

The regular deadline for Bell Ringer Awards entries is Friday, March 19, 2021 by 6:00 p.m. ET. Early bird entries, which will be discounted by $30 per entry for PR Club members, must be submitted by Friday, February 19, 2021 by 6:00 p.m. ET. To qualify for early-bird pricing and discounted rates, sign up or renew your membership here. Late entries will be accepted until Friday, March 26, 2021 by 6:00 p.m. ET. Entries can be submitted using our online submission form and must represent work completed between January 1, 2020 and March 6, 2021. The deadline for professional awards is Friday, April 16, 2021 by 6:00 p.m. ET.
