Inkscreen's CAPTOR Secure Camera App Wins Inaugural CyberSecured Award for Best Enterprise Mobile Application

Inkscreen, experts in secure content capture for government and enterprise customers, today announced that the company's CAPTOR business camera and document app has been awarded the 2020 Inaugural CyberSecured Award for best Enterprise Mobile Application. CAPTOR is the industry's leading secure content capture solution, trusted by organizations around the world to help employees securely manage and govern sensitive images, scan and protect documents, and record audio and video.

"We are thrilled to be recognized by the CyberSecured Awards as an innovator in enterprise mobile applications," said Josh Bohls, Inkscreen Founder. "With COVID-19 forcing the shift to remote working, the lines between personal and work devices are forever blurred. CAPTOR is the solution of choice to help IT Managers secure their company's sensitive data, meet critical compliance requirements and protect against insider threats, all while supporting an employee's productivity and right to privacy on their mobile devices."

First introduced in 2014, CAPTOR combines the functionality of a camera, document scanner, video recorder, audio recorder, QR Code reader, and annotator in a single app. CAPTOR is deployed in a wide range of enterprise and government environments, and is particularly suited for regulated industries, as it supports extensive policies and controls to protect sensitive data.

CAPTOR customers include remote nurses and hospice workers documenting patient status and recovery progress; insurance claims adjusters taking photos and videos to document property damage; federal, state and local law enforcement documenting crime scene evidence; lawyers scanning documents for a case file or recording video depositions; and government auditors documenting subjects of investigations.

In 2020, Inkscreen expanded CAPTOR with the introduction of CAPTORtm Compliance, the industry's first insider threat logging and data loss prevention alert system for managed camera and document capture apps. CAPTOR Compliance addresses the increasing regulatory liabilities posed by the common use of personal mobile devices for business use, and helps companies demonstrate best practices in mobile data compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

CAPTOR integrates with leading enterprise mobility management platforms including MobileIron, BlackBerry UEM, Microsoft InTune, and VMware/AirWatch.
