Vertafore Welcomes Industry Veteran Jon Newpol as General Manager to Lead its Distribution and Compliance Management Business

DENVER, Jan. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Vertafore announced that insurance industry veteran Jon Newpol will lead its distribution and compliance management segment as senior vice president and general manager.

Newpol joined Vertafore this month after serving in several senior executive positions with Thomson Reuters, Truven Health Analytics and IBM. In his prior roles he led business segments that supported insurers, government agencies and large employers with a wide variety of decision support, payment integrity and operational management software products and services.

Newpol will lead Vertafore's InsurTech solutions to simplify compliance for carriers, agents and states and empower carriers to modernize their agent experience to accelerate growth.

Carriers rely on the independent agent channel to connect their insurance products to the right individual consumers and businesses, but many carriers struggle with manual processes and multiple systems to establish and maintain their relationships with agents.
