COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update


QUÉBEC CITY, Dec. 8, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19 in Québec show 1,564 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 154,740. The data also report 36 new deaths, for a total of 7,313. Among these 36 deaths, 12 have occurred in the last 24 hours, 22 have occurred between December 1 and December 6 and 2 have occurred before December 1. The number of hospitalizations increased by 17 compared to the previous day, for a cumulative total of 835. Among these, the number of people in intensive care increased by 9, for a total of 114. The samples conducted on December 6 amount to 25,008 for a total of 4,133,635.
