The Deputy Prime Minister will meet virtually with small business owner, Eleanor Beaton, to discuss the Fall Economic Statement and government support to address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on Black and racialized women. The Deputy Prime Minister will deliver brief virtual remarks to the Halifax Chamber of Commerce on how the Government of Canada will continue to support Canadians through the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure a robust, inclusive, and sustainable economic recovery. A moderated discussion with the Halifax Chamber of Commerce's President and CEO, Patrick Sullivan, will follow.
