Former I-70 Regional Hospital Going to be Sold via Lender Owned Auction in Missouri


SWEET SPRINGS, Mo., Nov. 12, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A former critical access hospital in Missouri will be sold via Lender Owned Auction later this year by Maas Companies. The medical center closed last year and is now being sold by First Liberty Bank. The facility offered critical and routine medical care along the I-70 Corridor between Kansas City and Columbia. The assets will be sold via a sealed bid auction; the deadline for offers is Tuesday, December 8 at 4 PM. The property is being offered as an Entirety or with all medical equipment selling as one lot to be removed.

The I-70 Community Hospital opened its' doors in 2006 and subsequently added a health clinic in 2010. The medical center was intentionally built in Sweet Springs between Columbia and Kansas City, Missouri to maximize care access during the 'golden hour' of trauma. The 20 acre campus includes a 26,407 Sq. Ft. single story building with 15 beds, medical lab, offices, operating room, and support resources, it is fully complete with late model medical equipment. The hospital sits on 10 acres of real estate with an additional 10 acres of bare land for expansion or subdivision. The auction manner of sale will offer the real estate and equipment as a complete package or as separate lots.

The owner states, "The property has potential as a medical facility or medical clinic, ambulatory surgery center, rehab or long term/assisted care facility or outside of the medical field as office space, claims processing center."
