Top Fertility Specialist To Open New Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Matrika Johnson, a top-rated board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist, will be opening a new boutique fertility clinic called Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas this November. Located in Midtown Charlotte, NC, the new practice will include a state-of-the-art laboratory and will provide high-touch, comprehensive fertility care to patients throughout the Carolinas.

The fertility clinic is the first part of a larger grand opening ? in 2021, Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas will move into a new 11,000 square foot location. The new facility will enhance Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas' treatment offerings, which include standard options such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF), as well as fertility assessments, oncofertility, egg freezing, embryo freezing, gestational surrogacy, and more.

Before becoming the founder and Medical Director of Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas, Dr. Johnson spent the past five years in practice for the Charlotte market, where she made a name for herself in the Carolina fertility care community. Most recently in 2020, she was voted as one of Charlotte Magazine's "Top Doctors" for the specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). She is also the only female African American REI specialist in the entire state of North Carolina.

One of the main driving forces behind Dr. Johnson's decision to open up a boutique fertility clinic in North Carolina has been her own personal experience. "As an infertility patient myself, I'm in a unique position to understand the experience from the patient perspective. This allows our team to improve upon the more traditional model and create a truly patient centered experience," she says.

Personalized care will be the cornerstone of Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas practice. "My patients aren't just a number. I don't want them to feel like it's one size fits all," says Dr. Johnson. "I want everyone to feel like their care is personalized. It's really important to me that this practice focuses on each individual patient."

Dr. Johnson also has a demonstrated history of inclusivity and has provided fertility care for a diverse range of patients from all backgrounds and situations, including LGBTQ+ families, single individuals, and others. "I believe that everyone deserves the chance to have a family," she says.

Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas will open and start seeing patients the week of November 24, 2020. The clinic will be located at 1918 Randolph Rd, Ste 210, Charlotte, NC 28207-1109.
