Blue Planet Energy Solutions Ranked No. 703 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest-Growing Companies

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Blue Planet Energy Solutions, an energy solution consulting and installation firm, is pleased to announce it made Inc. magazine's 2020 annual Inc. 5000 list. The list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Blue Planet reported three-year revenue growth of 668 percent.

Utility account holders of commercial buildings benefit from working with Blue Planet to facilitate utility company energy efficiency programs while also supplying and installing the recommended energy-efficient equipment for large facilities. A company's commitment to saving energy enhances its clean and green brand.

The California State Government and public utility companies want organizations to use less energy. The 2006 Assembly Bill 32 (AB 32) served as "early action to reduce greenhouse gases." The current Utility Funded Program provides financial incentives for utility customers to become energy efficient. It helps commercial utility customers cut their energy use through efficient, modern lighting solutions, energy management systems, and controls. The rebates and energy bill savings pay the lighting upgrade project costs.

Through a comprehensive energy assessment site visit, a Blue Planet team member audits and surveys the facility's equipment to determine the organization's eligibility. If eligible, Blue Planet draws up project plans, facilitates project funding approval, and installs new, modern lighting without disruption.

"I am super proud of our team and all the hard work that went into making the Inc. 5000 list," said Blue Planet CEO and Founder, Lance Copelin. "We grind hard for our customers to help them lower their energy consumption/costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks go out to everyone on the team--admin, operations, accounting, sales, tech consultants, vendors, utility company partners, clients, friends, and family!"

The Inc. 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy's most dynamic segment--its independent small businesses. The San Diego-based firm was one of four energy firms from the metro area and 18 in the State of California.

Inc. 5000 companies were ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. Companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent and founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. The minimum revenue required for 2016 was $100,000; the minimum for 2019 was $2 million.

"The companies on this year's Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business," says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. "From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism no matter the sector."
