Avimesa has released beacon sensing technology that is integrated into Avimesa.Live and the cloud. Companies configure a beacon from within paid and free Avimesa.Live accounts. The technology is available for Linux-based gateways and downloadable free for the Raspberry Pi.
Avimesa.Live (https://avimesa.live) is a browser-based SaaS application that works with thousands of different types of sensors and comes with 10,000 free monthly readings. Companies can set up alarms, alerts, and notifications based on sensor values and also graph the sensor data.
Avimesa is comprised of:
Avimesa Messages -- A message-based cloud platform that utilizes RabbitMQ, LDAP, NFS, and high-performance code written in ?C' to administer and deliver IoT technologies at scale. Access to the platform is via AMQP and RESTful API's, which provides a JavaScript runtime for message filtering, device management, provisioning, notifications, alerts, and user role management. OTA is integrated for firmware updates.
Avimesa Gadget -- A free software tool for devices to communicate with Avimesa Messages using any programming language. On devices that have BLE installed, "Gadget" can operate as a BLE<->Internet gateway. On hardware such as ARM-based Nordic chips, it can run native without an operating system.
Avimesa.Live -- A robust, monitored, and hosted Industrial IoT API and SaaS application providing a "get going in minutes" long term-interface to deploy IoT applications. It is designed to easily configure almost any sensor and IoT hardware from leading hardware and kit providers.
