GM Financial Executives to Be Featured at 2020 Auto Finance Summit
Amid rapid change and evolution in the auto finance landscape, GM Financial is honored to announce that two of its key leaders, Bruno Paiva and Shunda Robinson, will be among the more than 20 auto finance industry experts who will address current issues during the 20th annual Auto Finance Summit, scheduled for Oct. 20-22. This year's event will be conducted virtually as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The impact of the pandemic and resulting economic challenges will be the pervasive theme throughout the conference, as the organizers aim to provide participants with information and insights to help the industry adapt and build business back to pre-COVID levels.
"We are very proud to have such a strong representation at this important event across two vitally-important disciplines: digital innovation and diversity and inclusion," said Kyle Birch, president of North America Operations for GM Financial and chair of the American Financial Services Association's Vehicle Finance Division Board. "The summit will provide a productive exchange of ideas and perspectives on these and related topics, helping this industry address not only the pandemic, but also the challenges of digital selling and ensuring our industry mirrors the full breadth of diversity across our customer, dealer and employee networks."
The GM Financial executives addressing the summit:
Bruno Paiva, senior vice president of digital marketing, will lead the "Digital Innovation Lab" workshop on Oct. 20 from 2-2:30 p.m. Central time. The intent of the session is to help participants develop innovative ideas for digital platforms that help mitigate the impact of the pandemic.
Shunda Robinson, global vice president of diversity & inclusion, will be part of the three-person panel discussion "Promoting Diversity & Inclusion through Empowerment and Equity." This presentation, which builds on GM Financial's commitment to fostering and celebrating diversity and inclusion, will be Thursday, Oct. 22 from 10-10:45 a.m. Central time.
