CIRI is Taking the 2020 Annual Conference Virtual

The Canadian Investor Relations Institute's (CIRI's) 2020 Annual Conference is going virtual and will include all of the elements that make this a hallmark event for Canadian IROs year in and year out.

CIRI's Annual Conference, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will now be held virtually over four afternoons ? November 23, 24, 30 and December 1. While we will continue to deliver the tried and true elements of past Conferences including panel discussions with subject matter experts, interactive roundtables with peers, opportunities to engage with one another and a virtual exhibit hall to stay current on product and service offerings, this new format will allow attendees to learn and interact in innovative ways.

"By delivering our Annual Conference virtually, we can recognize and celebrate how the role has adapted to the circumstances of 2020 and provide new insights and approaches that IROs can take back to their organization to further demonstrate their strategic value."

Each year, CIRI's Annual Conference brings together investor relations professionals from across Canada to stay up to date on IR best practices and emerging trends; learn from IR, governance and capital markets experts; network with peers; and stay informed about IR tools and services available. With the shift to a virtual Annual Conference, the regular rates have been adjusted to $750 for members and $1,050 for non-members. In addition, the $100 early bird discount has been extended to September 23, 2020. Regular registration rates will be available from September 24, 2020 onward.

Those already registered for the Annual Conference can apply their fees toward the virtual Annual Conference.
