Gifts for Good Achieves B Corporation Certification; Helps Reduce Waste In The Corporate Gifting Industry

Gifts for Good, the only business gifting company that exclusively sells gifts that give back, announced today that it has officially become a Certified B Corporation, a new kind of company that uses the power of business to address society's greatest challenges. Gifts for Good joins the growing movement of more than 3,400 Certified B Corporations from 150 industries, across 71 countries that are balancing purpose and profit including companies like Warby Parker, Seventh Generation, TOMS, and Ben & Jerry's.

"We founded the company on the principles of using business as a force for good and we are excited to join the official ranks of the B Corp community," said CEO and Co-Founder Laura Hertz. "Providing companies with a one-stop shop for corporate gifts that do good in the world has been a needed platform to reduce gifting waste and create a more sustainable future. The B Corp certification lends credibility to our mission and assures our customers that we are committed to giving the best gifts while simultaneously doing our best to change the world."

As a B Corp, Gifts for Good is legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders?customers, workers, communities, and the environment?and will measure and communicate its impact in a transparent methodology. "We are very excited to have the rigorous standards of B Corp verify and certify the impact we are having," said Chief Impact Officer Jenise Steverding. "Any business can claim to do good, but having external certification to evaluate our commitment is something that we believe is important in moving businesses to the next level of impact."

"We are thrilled to have Gifts for Good join the ranks of Certified B Corporations," said Ben Anderson, co-CEO of B Lab U.S. & Canada. "Gifts for Good's move to certify as a B Corp ensures the company will continue to achieve the highest standards of social and environmental impact in the corporate gifting industry, while continuing their commitment to leading a movement toward more sustainable employee and client gifting."

To date, Gifts for Good has helped to better the lives of over 75,000 people in 65 countries by partnering with some of the world's biggest brands to incorporate social impact into their gift giving including: Facebook, National Geographic, FOX, Red Bull, NPR, American Express, Warner Brothers, ZipRecruiter, KPMG, Marriott, and Google.
