Anne Yang, Former Managing Director & Member of the Executive Office at Goldman Sachs, Joins Star Mountain as a Partner & Strategic Portfolio Manager


Star Mountain Capital, LLC ("Star Mountain"), an investment manager focused exclusively on the large and underserved U.S. lower middle-market, is pleased to announce that Anne Yang has expanded her role from Senior Advisor to Partner & Strategic Portfolio Manager. With decades of strategic advisory experience to leading corporations and asset managers including Blackstone, Ms. Yang brings substantial strategic value to Star Mountain's portfolio companies to add value and help protect capital in an aligned manner with Star Mountain's portfolio companies and investors.

Ms. Yang was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisition Group and member of the Executive Office at Goldman Sachs. In addition to her time at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Yang was also a Managing Director in the investment banking divisions of Bank of America and Citigroup. She also served as an Investment Analyst for Strong Capital Management in the management of a $4.5 billion public mutual fund investment portfolio and worked in the Merchant Banking Group of First Boston investing firm capital in leveraged buyouts.

Ms. Yang received both her B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and her M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Yang has served as a Board Member for various city and regional public boards in Connecticut.
