Katz has close to 40 years of experience in the physical therapy industry and previously founded Adient Physical Therapy, which he grew to seven locations in the Western US, before he exited to ATI Physical Therapy in 2016. Most recently, Katz serves as the President of the California Physical Therapy Association. Additionally, he serves as an instructor in the physical therapy program at California State University, Northridge. Finally, he oversaw Operations and Payer Contracting for ATI, responsible for developing payer relationships Nationally (specialized in AK, OR and CA). He has used his clinician experience, general management, and payer relationships to drive efficiency in many physical therapy locations and has demonstrated a clear focus on disciplined implementation and performance metrics. Katz earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in health science and exercise physiology from California State University, Northridge and UCLA and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from E.I.M Institute of Health in Louisville Kentucky.
