Andrew Bissonnette Named LBMC Healthcare Practice Leader

LBMC, one of the Southeast's largest accounting and business consulting firms and a top 50 firm in the nation, today announced that Andrew Bissonnette, LBMC Healthcare Audit and Assurance Shareholder, has assumed the leadership role for the LBMC Healthcare Practice. Bissonnette succeeds LBMC's previous Healthcare Practice Leader, Greg Eli, in connection with a formal transition plan for the company's largest industry segment.

A 20+ year veteran in the healthcare advisory space, Andrew brings to his clients an experienced advisor who has been involved in healthcare related audit and assurance services across a wide variety of specialties, including for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals, behavioral health and long-term care, many of which are in the Private Equity arena.

Bissonnette has been named a prestigious member of the Nashville Business Journal's Healthcare Heroes and a key advisor in the LEA Global Healthcare Special Interest Group. In addition, he has served on the board of directors of the Nashville Healthcare Council as a representative for the public accounting industry.

"I'm delighted that Andrew will lead the LBMC Healthcare Practice forward at a time of continued growth and opportunity for our clients and for our firm," said Eli. "Andrew was the ideal choice because he understands the value of people and relationships, which comes first in our business. We have built a thriving Healthcare Practice with a strong set of clients across the country, and Andrew will do an incredible job in his role as Practice Leader. While I am extremely pleased with the progress our Healthcare Practice has made over the past 23 years since its formation, I am even more excited about what the future holds under Andrew's leadership. As they say, the best is yet to come, and I look forward to working with Andrew and all of the Healthcare Practice team members to accomplish just that!"

Greg Eli's leadership of LBMC's Healthcare Practice for over 23 years has allowed Bissonnette to build his knowledge within the industry as well as its required and unique needs. Eli will continue to play a key advisory role in the firm with increased opportunity to lend strategic oversight poised to help with the transition over the next year.

"It has been a privilege working with Greg and our healthcare group for the past 20+ years. During this time and under Greg's leadership, we have experienced substantial growth in the Healthcare Practice and expanded our service offerings to our healthcare clients. I am excited about the future as we continue to grow and nationalize our practice and provide opportunities for the great leadership team we have in place," said Bissonnette.

"Congratulations to Andrew, and I want to thank Greg for his outstanding achievements and contributions to LBMC's Healthcare Practice and the firm overall. I cannot think of a better successor than Andrew, and I look forward to continuing to work with him as he drives the Healthcare Practice forward," said Jeff Drummonds, LBMC CEO.
