U.S., Canadian Companies Can Now Simplify, Improve Data-Driven Work with Process Mining Solution from Germany's Process Analytics Factory

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 25, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Process Analytics Factory (PAF), a Germany-based innovator of process mining software, announced it is expanding into the United States and Canada with its flagship solution, PAFnow. U.S. technology investor and entrepreneur Volker Straub recently joined the PAF advisory board and will lead the company's North America expansion strategy.

PAFnow is a process mining tool for companies of all sizes and industries, making data-intensive work simpler by converting data into insights and actions easily, conveniently and affordably. PAFnow is the only process mining tool that is fully integrated with Microsoft Power BI, which is used by 97 percent of Fortune 500 companies.

"Today, only 22 percent of users have access to analytical insights in their business applications," said Tobias Rother, founder and CEO of PAF. "Process mining tools like PAFnow can help drive efficiencies by analyzing how processes actually transpire, how they deviate from the ideal model, what problems occur and what optimization measures should be taken."

PAF is a disruptor and thought leader in the process mining industry, specializing in artificial process intelligence. The company is establishing its North American operations in Ann Arbor, Michigan to be at the center of data science and artificial intelligence research.

"We strongly believe that rapid technological advances in process mining deployed through Microsoft´s Power Platform and the digital workplace Microsoft Office 365 will reshape the process mining landscape," said Straub, cofounder of Secure-24, a technology entrepreneur and investor scaling technology companies with business applications such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft ERP, JD Edwards and Hyperion Solutions.

PAFnow has been recognized by leading analyst groups and influencers like Gartner, Forrester and Everest Group. Everest Group rated PAFnow highly for Vision and Capabilities, which underscores the company's ability to deliver product successfully.

PAF's multi-industry customer base includes Air Canada, global packaging company Amcor, energy supplier Fortis, Daimler, Merck, Heidelberg and more. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and PAF work together to develop innovative digital business models based on Process Mining techniques. Existing methods for user companies will be developed so they can easily and conveniently use Process Mining technologies as part of a managed service to achieve a continuous improvement process.

"Having excellent processes gives you a clear competitive advantage," stated Christian Bartmann, Partner Risk Assurance Solutions, PwC Germany. "PwC develops customized analyses and individual optimization measures for companies. As part of the ongoing development of our ProMaaS (Process Mining as a Service) offering, we work closely with PAF, which is an international leader in innovation research in the field of Process Mining."

Today's announcement positions PAF for significant expansion into the North American market as well as continued global growth. "PAFnow enables big data and real-time dashboards with support for KPIs," said PAF CEO Tobias Rother. "It is the natural choice for any company using the Microsoft Power Platform."
