The Church Pension Group (CPG), a financial services organization that serves the Episcopal Church, announced that it will host a virtual conversation featuring experts on socially responsible investing and shareholder engagement on Thursday, June 25, 2020, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM ET. Mary Kate Wold, CEO and President of CPG, will facilitate the discussion, and will also share an update on how CPG is navigating market volatility and other client needs amid the COVID-19 pandemic. All clergy, lay employees, and volunteers who serve the Episcopal Church are invited to register at cpg.org/Insights&Ideas.

"We are excited to host this important virtual conversation on socially responsible investing and shareholder engagement," said Ms. Wold. "We have been fortunate to engage with members of the Church in discussing this important topic and look forward to continuing the conversation and encourage Episcopalians who have an interest in learning more to join us online on June 25."

The event is part of CPG's Insights & Ideas series of conversations that are designed to address topics of interest to the Episcopal Church and CPG. It will include an update of the work of the Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., from Rebecca Linder Blachly, Director of the Office of Government Relations at the Episcopal Church; an overview of the socially responsible investing landscape by Sarah Hoyt, Investment Director at Cambridge Associates; and an expert panel discussion on shareholder engagement featuring Adam CT Matthews, Director of Ethics & Engagement for the Church of England Pensions Board and Co-Chair of the Transition Pathway Initiative, Christopher Rowe, Managing Director at the Church Pension Group, and Rachel Segal, Environmental Social and Governance Research Analyst at Pzena Investment Management.
