Crown Dublin nears its GoFundMe goal to feed the hungry

DUBLIN, Ohio, June 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Crown Automotive Dublin's GoFundMe campaign, to raise funds to feed the people who have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, is getting closer to its goal. The automotive group is attempting to raise $25,000 to be donated in its entirety to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Crown kicked off the campaign with a donation of $10,000.

"We're almost at $20,000 and we couldn't be happier. It never ceases to amaze me how generous our community is; more so in times of trouble like now. The driving force behind the campaign is support for the neighbors, families and community members who are facing hardship due to job losses, decreased income and food supply shortages. Crown selected the Mid-Ohio Food Collective due to its capability of providing a high level of support through its 680 feeding partners.

"Thousands of people can't feed themselves or their families now. Most likely, you've seen the long lines at distribution points or you've seen images of bare shelves at area food banks. We all have a responsibility to help those less fortunate than us.
