Atomic Defense Reports 510% Increase in Body Armor Sales; Looks to Increase Team

FRESNO, Calif., June 2, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- While some struggle, others are prospering.  Paper products and canned goods have seen a huge boom in recent months.  Toilet paper alone rose to be a mythical object that only some have seen in stock.

Outside of the household items that everyone wanted, Atomic Defense, a body armor company in California, has seen an incredible increase in the number of orders as people begin to prep for the worst-case scenario.  Owner and Founder of Atomic Defense, Gray Spate said, "We've seen soft body armor, ballistic helmets and PEAD armor plates go up in sales by over 510%" and "It's been hard to keep anything in stock since we're not going to raise prices on people in a time like this."

With this increase in body armor sales and bulletproof vest sales, Gray, the owner of Atomic Defense, has been increasing staff and inventory, helping drive the local economy in Fresno, California with new jobs for those who've lost theirs.  Gray said they will need to hire on another driver, writers, machinists, sales reps, stockers, marketers and more to handle the increase in orders as people adjust to the new reality of COVID-19.

During the current crisis with COVID-19, many stores have struggled to keep their doors open and to get customers to make purchases.  Countless mom and pop shops will likely meet their end during this time.  It is extremely sad.  In fact, one of the ways you can help is by purchasing gift cards or asking for store credit if you give them money right now.  That is the best way to keep your favorite donut shop open that you go to every Friday morning with the kids.
