SAN FRANCISCO, May 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Novogradac continues to be one of the best CPA firms for women, according the 2020 Accounting MOVE Project report on the subject.
The San Francisco-based accounting and consulting firm was one of 13 firms recognized by the Accounting Move Project. This is the fourth-straight year that Novogradac received the honor.
The 2020 Accounting MOVE Project focuses on firms that have both a high proportion of women at most or all levels of management and proven success. Novogradac made both of the MOVE Project's lists: Best CPA Firms for Women and Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership, which is based on the percentage of women partners and principals. Women make up more than 30 percent of Novogradac's partners and principals.
"Novogradac is proud of our successful history of serving niche industries and we built on that success to create a platform for our employees," said Diana R. Letsinger, CPA and partner in Novogradac's Long Beach, Calif., office and member of the three-person executive team. "As a result, we are able to attract, develop and retain the talent best-suited to serve our clients."
The MOVE Project press release praised Novogradac's approach.
"The metrics and milestones for success are crystal-clear: with a personal dashboard to aim for partnership, women know exactly what resources they need to qualify for their next career steps," it said.
Michael J. Novogradac, the organization's managing partner, was pleased by the selection.
"It's an honor to again be part of this list," Novogradac said. "Providing superior service to our clients requires that we invest in our employees and in their professional development. This recognition reinforces our approach and is welcome validation."
Novogradac began operations in 1989 and has grown to more than 600 employees and partners with offices in more than 25 cities. Tax, audit and consulting specialty practice areas for Novogradac include affordable housing, opportunity zones, community development, historic rehabilitation and renewable energy.
