Media Advisory - The Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada will Attend the Homecoming Ceremony for Captain Jennifer Casey


OTTAWA, May 23, 2020 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, will attend the homecoming ceremony for Captain Jennifer Casey at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at 5 p.m. ADT 

Captain Jennifer Casey was a public affairs officer with the Snowbirds air demonstration team and was tragically killed last week while supporting Operation INSPIRATION, which payed tribute to all those working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on the CF Snowbirds, Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Armed Forces Facebook pages.
