PepsiCo Foods Canada Issues Voluntary Recall in Quebec and Labrador on 190 Gram Bags of Ruffles® Hot Wings Potato Chips Due to an Undeclared Mustard Ingredient


MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 5, 2020 /CNW/ - PepsiCo Foods Canada today issued a voluntary recall in Quebec and Labrador of a small quantity of 190 gram bags of Ruffles® Hot Wings potato chips due to an undisclosed ingredient, mustard seed, which is an allergen that is not declared on the Ruffles® Hot Wings package. These products were distributed to retailers in Quebec and Labrador only.

The recalled products are as follows:

No other Ruffles® products are included in this recall.  No other "Guaranteed Fresh" dates for Ruffles® Hot Wings are included in this recall. 

No consumer concerns related to this matter have been reported to date.  The company is working closely with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) to coordinate the withdrawal.
