Steel River Group and Aseniwuche Winewak Nation of Canada Announce Strategic Partnership


NEW PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN SRG AND AWN WELCOMES AWN INTO THE STEEL RIVER ECOSYSTEM AND BEGINS COLLABORATIVE EXPLORATION OF SOCIAL, CULTURAL, AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES.

CALGARY, April 16, 2020 /CNW/ - Calgary based, Steel River Group Inc. ("SRG" or the "Company") announced today that it has formed a strategic relationship with Aseniwuche Winewak Nation (AWN).  The strategic partnership between Steel River Group and AWN will explore social, cultural and economic opportunities through a trust based, collaborative and respectful engagement. The successes of this partnership will be driven by the Inclusive Steel River Ecosystem Model, which aligns Steel River owned companies, Indigenous Partners and Alliance Partners. The Ecosystem fosters alignment among all rightsholders through trust, transparency and a shared vision.

Aseniwuche Winewak Nation is well positioned for growth and economic development as a result of emerging industries and opportunities local to its traditional territory, including its fully operational fabrication shop.  Steel River Group will work alongside the Nation to capture these opportunities by bolstering capacity and backend structures, increasing the ability to capitalize on future ventures.
