Big Path Capital Announces Virtual Summit Series to Connect Impact Community in Time of Crisis

Big Path Capital, impact investing's investment bank, announces the launch of two new virtual summits to expand the series of digital impact investing events the organization will host in the coming months. As the world grapples with the health and economic fallout of COVID-19, leaders in the impact space are skillfully positioned to help engineer solutions and further demonstrate that smart investments can simultaneously drive positive social outcomes.

Added to the lineup is the Global Virtual Impact Capitalism Summit on April 21; the USA Virtual Impact Capitalism Summit ? American Resilience and Recovery on May 12; and the European Virtual Impact Capitalism Summit ? Bringing Europe's Impact Investors Together on June 9. Each event aims to connect LPs within a specific geographic area to discuss COVID-19-related financial tools and initiatives from key stakeholders. In addition, the previously scheduled Momentum Summit for founders and CEOs has moved to a digital platform and will be held on May 19.

"Big Path was founded in 2007 and shortly thereafter weathered the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. This helped us develop a resilience that has served us well, particularly now as the world confronts the realities of this virus and financial institutions must use creativity to problem-solve," said Big Path Managing Partner Shawn Lesser.

These additions were encouraged by the enthusiastic response to Big Path's recent Diversity Driving Alpha Virtual Summit ? featuring all women speakers ? that had more than 400 online attendees.

"During this time of turmoil and transition, we see the importance of bringing the impact community together. As a lean, nimble organization, we were prepared to quickly pivot our in-person conferences to a digital platform, and provide an opportunity for impact leaders to connect, just as community-building becomes more important than ever," said Big Path Managing Partner Michael Whelchel.

The current list of upcoming digital summits include:
