Adecco Group SA Pays Tribute to Former Vice-Chair of the Board - the Late Mr. Thomas O'Neill

TORONTO, April 9, 2020 /CNW/ - Thomas O'Neill served as Vice-Chair of the Adecco Group Board of Directors from 2004 ? 2017. During his decade plus tenure Tom lent his business acumen and principled oversight to the governance and strategic direction of the worldwide operation.

"While stakeholders across our organization and beyond mourn the loss of our dear friend Tom O'Neill, we are also grateful and appreciative of his contribution to the Adecco Group during his tenure on the Board. I know I speak on behalf of my Board of Director colleagues when I say that the Adecco Group would not be the company it is today, without Tom's commitment and contribution over such a long period of time", stated Rolf Dörig, Chair of the Board, Adecco Group.

Tom's contributions were many and none more important than his expertise in governance and regulatory matters, his fierce commitment to diversity on the Board and his support of, and meaningful contribution to, North American leadership. In addition to the position of Vice-Chair, he served on the Nomination & Compensation and Corporate Governance Committees. Alain Dehaze, CEO of Adecco Group, remembers Tom for his "principled approach, warmth and grace in all their interactions."

Tom was also active at a local level in supporting the Canadian and United States team members. Former Canadian President & Country Manager, Sandi Hokansson, remembers Tom for "his generous spirit, humble counsel and commitment to mentoring leaders. Simply put, he was a leader's leader."

The entire Adecco Group sends its deepest sympathies to Tom's wife Susan, family and friends and pays tribute to the fruitful and meaningful legacy of Mr. Tom O'Neill.
