SAPIENT Beings Set to Invade High School and College Campuses
CORONA, Calif., April 7, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- NEW campus organization called the SAPIENT Being is seeking new members at America's high school, community college and university campuses starting spring 2020.
The Society Advancing Personal Intelligence & Enlightenment Now Together (SAPIENT) Being is a non-profit organization whose primary goals are to enhance viewpoint diversity and intellectual humility so students, administrators and professors can make and participate in free speech again on campus.
"Ideological diversity, academic humility and freedom of expression are all acutely underrepresented throughout America's academic and educational institutions," notes founder and CEO of the SAPIENT Being, Corey Lee Wilson.
"For example, in 2014 the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) found 61% of college campuses have restrictive free speech policies. The Heterodox Academy, a champion of viewpoint diversity notes New England has the most liberal college administrators ratio of 25-to-one ratio of liberals to conservatives. The Templeton Foundation's research and grants initiative on intellectual humility may hold the psychological key to understanding and eliminating illiberalism on campus.

The SAPIENT Being has two programs, each with a one-time $25 lifetime membership.
The first is the "Make Free Speech Again on Campus" movement and is the primary purpose of the campus organization groups to practice, protect and promote freedom of speech and expression and their principles as well as promote viewpoint diversity and intellectual humility.
The second is the "World of Writing Warriors (WOWW)" program for individual students interested in journalism, communications and broadcasting that seeks to challenge the academic orthodoxy on campus with non-fake news standards and alternative/viewpoint diverse topics.
