In addition to long life, the spade bits have an optimized point tip that is wider and longer than previous IRWIN spade bits and is designed to minimize splintering and control speed. The parabolic scoop allows for a large cutting area for aggressive removal of wood chips and fast drilling. Further, the reinforced 1/4'' quick change shank allows the SPEEDBOR® Spade Bits to be used in standard chucks in drills, as well as impact drivers.

The new SPEEDBOR® Spade Bits are ideal for woodworkers, electricians, and general contractors. They are available for individual purchase or in multiple set configurations, including IRWIN medium storage cases.
