Chalkboard Publishing Launches 12-Week Guided Homeschool Programs For Parents In Need of Educational Resources

Grade specific learning, guidance and activities provided to parents of students from grades K-6 looking for homeschooling resources during COVID-19

TORONTO, April 1, 2020 /CNW/ - Chalkboard Publishing Inc. (Chalkboard), leader in curriculum-based educational resources has recently launched 12-week guided homeschool programs for students K-6 to provide parents and students looking for grade-specific resources, learning, guidance and activities to help support them through this unprecedented time.

Canadian parents and caregivers need support and resources to help keep their children engaged and on track during this uncertain time. With that in mind, Chalkboard has created an additional free resource called Chalkboard Learn. This free resource provides Canadian parents and children with 20 days of reading, video, activities and outdoor adventures.

"As a parent and educator, I can see how overwhelming the prospect of guiding and teaching our children through this crisis may be. Most of us don't know where to start and we want a step by step guide. With this in mind, we created a tool that offers parents peace of mind: The program helps parents by leading them through activities and exercises for each day." Said Demetra Turnbull, Founder & CEO of Chalkboard Publishing.

"We understand this is a particularly stressful time, and we are proud to provide a solution to parents who are looking for support. The goal isn't to be perfect, the goal is to support your child as best you can."

Chalkboard's grade specific programs have been designed by Canadian teachers to keep children excited, engaged and motivated to learn. The content provides families with step-by-step support during this challenging time.
